MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health on Friday announced the withdrawal of medical gloves made by Chinese company Lotus, as it did not meet quality standards.
In a statement issued by MOH said the gloves made of vinyl material appeared to have a number of impurities leading to “unusability of the product, which may adversely affect the person using it.”
“The Directorate General of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Drug Control (DGPADC) calls upon to immediately stop using this product and report any adverse effects suspected to be associated with the use of the product,” MOH said in a statement.
