MUSCAT: Security authorities placed parts of Wilayat Jalan Bani Bu Ali in South Al Sharqiyah under sanitary health isolation as part of precautions against the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Royal Oman Police said on Thursday.
In a statement issued by ROP said that the commercial market (souq) area near the hospital in wilayat Jalan Bani Bu Ali is under isolation.
The isolation went into into effect from 4am on Thursday until further notice, ROP said.

Jalan Bani Bu Ali is the third Wilayat in the country to be placed under isolation following Wilayat Muttrah and Muscat Governorate.
Oman on Wednesday confirmed 910 cases of coronavirus in the country.
