MUSCAT: Oman is facing shortages of some medical supplies needed to contain coronavirus and the government is trying its best to stock what is necessary, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Hosni, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.

Speaking to Oman TV in an interview, Al Hosni without revealing the details of the supplies revealed that the government is looking to secure vital medical supplies in real time. “We are facing a shortage of some medical supplies but we are seeking to secure what is needed,” he said.

He also urged private sector employers to educate expatriate workers on the dangers of coronavirus (Covid-19) to ensure they are protected from being infected.
