MUSCAT: The Government Communication Centre (GC) has denied rumours that have been circulated on social media about new cases of coronavirus in a family infected from a student who returned from the United States.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, GC said: “It is not true that 15 cases of coronavirus have been registered with the same family due to the lack of commitment to the measures of quarantine by a student coming from USA.”
Oman on Wednesday confirmed 419 cases of coronavirus with 72 recoveries.
