Muscat: A fake circular has been making the rounds on social media and WhatsApp, asking private sector employees to stop coming to their workplace. The Government Communications Centre (GC), has verified that the message is fake.
“The Supreme Committee has clearly informed private sector companies to take measures to minimise the number of employees in the workplace so as to prevent the spread of the virus in a manner that would not affect the business. What is currently being circulated on social media is not true,” GC added.
