MUSCAT: Muscat governorate accounts for majority of coronavirus patients in the country, according to a data provided by Oman TV shows.
Of the total 277 COVID-19 cases in Oman, there are 207 infected people in Muscat governorate alone. Oman on Saturday reported 25 new cases, of which 21 are recorded from Muscat.
Dhahira has 21 cases while North Al Batinah has 20 and South Al Batinah has 15 cases so far. 61 patients who were infected with coronavirus in the country have recovered, according to the Ministry of Health.

As the numbers are increasing every day, MOH has urged the public to stay at home and practice social distancing. “The Ministry adhere everyone to strictly follow social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary,” MOH said.
