Muscat: A one-year-old baby became the youngest person to be contracted with coronavirus in the country, according to His Excellency Dr Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health.
“Currently, the occurence of infection is more in men than in women. The youngest infected case is that of a one-year-old baby,” he said speaking to Arabic radio FM Shabiba.
Al Saidi reiterated that social distance is the most effective way to combat the virus. “Social distance is very important and in order to protect your health and the health of your loved ones, isolate yourself for at least the next four weeks,” he added.
