MUSCAT: Ministry of Health has clarified that the coronavirus test kits purchased from China is not faulty and is genuine.
The reaction from the government comes after rumours of substandard testing kits being used in the country raised furore on social media. “The Ministry would like to confirm that the Sultanate did not purchase any faulty products that was imported from China and it is using certified products as per the regulations set by the World Health Organisation,” the statement from MOH said.
The rumours floated online after countries like Spain brought faulty coroanvirus testing kits from China.
