Muscat: Oman has the lowest coronavirus cases reported in the entire GCC, according to the data releases by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Oman has confirmed 18 cases and it shows the efficiency of the country’s health system to prevent the spread of the virus.
There are as many as 675 coronavirus cases reported across the GCC with Qatar recording the highest with 262 cases.

Bahrain comes second with 195 cases, while Kuwait registered 80 cases. UAE reported 74 cases and Saudi Arabia 45.
On Wednesday, WHO described the virus as pandemic with 126,513 cases reported worldwide.
