MUSCAT:
If you’re afraid of getting coronavirus from packages shipped from China, don’t be. Oman Post has confirmed that the virus cannot be transmitted through shipments.

Oman Post has also informed that it has resumed the services in sending and receiving shipments to and from China in cooperation with its partners, however, customers may experience delays due to change in flight schedules. Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has cancelled all flights to and from China due to the fears of coronavirus outbreak that killed 369 people so far.

“We would like to inform you that receiving shipments from China is still underway since we have not received any instructions from the concerned parties/ authorities to stop this process. However, these might also experience some delays, depending on flight schedules,” Oman Post said in a statement.
