Muscat: Is your child suffering from high temperature, cold, cough, pharyngeal congestion or difficulty in breathing? Then you must not send your child to the nursery, as the Ministry of Social Development has has issued an alert to all nurseries in Oman following the new coronavirus outbreak in China and other countries.
“In light of what the world is currently witnessing from the spread of Coronavirus, the Ministry notes the need to take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of children in nurseries,” the Ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry also issued guidelines to nurseries and asked to provide sterilisation devices to children and staff.

“Their hands should be washed with soap and water in proper way and must not allow parents to enter nursery buildings,” the statement said.
