MUSCAT: An Omani woman was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after suffering a medical emergency in Dhofar governorate, the Ministry of Defence reported on Thursday.
According to the statement, the woman whose health condition was serious was airlifted from the wilayat of Shaleem and Al Halaniyat Island in Dhofar governorate, and was transferred to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah by the Royal Air Force of Oman.
“The Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation of a citizen suffering from a critical health condition. She was transferred from Al Halaniyat Islands in wilayat of Shaleem and Al Halaniyat Islands to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah to receive the necessary treatment,” the Defence Ministry added.
