MUSCAT: Heavy rain that began early morning on Wednesday brought chaos to Muscat’s roads as motorists battled flooding and traffic jams.
Traffic has come to a standstill along all the major roads in Muscat as incessant rains lashed the city.
While people have experienced the cold temperature over the last few days, the weather seems to have impacted the traffic adversely.

Motorists heading back to work after three-day break were the worst affected as continued rain caused tailbacks of several kilometres.
According to the latest weather report by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), rain will continue to fall across the country till Thursday due to the low air depression.
