MUSCAT: 
Oman’s crude oil prices surged over 2 per cent high on Monday to cross over $70 amid US-Iran tensions.

According to the latest figures released by the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME), the value of Oman crude oil is priced at $70.45 on Monday. 

In the past few days, the Oman crude oil priced were increasing significantly. On January 3, the price rose from $66.30 to $68.62. 

Oil prices had jumped more than 2 percent on Friday after the United States killed Iran’s Quds Force leader Qassem Soleimani, in an air attack near Baghdad airport. The crude oil price rose from $66.30 to $68.62 on Friday.
