MUSCAT: 75 per cent of Oman’s E-Census 2020 project has been completed, according to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
A nationwide campaign for updating data was started last year. The campaign will target citizens, expats, institutions and its owners.
Speaking about the project, Dr Khalifa bin Abdullah bin Hamad al Barwani, CEO of the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) said: “The introduction of this service is aligned with E-Census 2020’s requisite of updating the residential address of citizens and residents in the civil register. This is being done by entering the electricity account number on the ROP’s website.”
