MUSCAT:The construction of a five-star resort in Oman is nearing completion and will open by the first quarter of 2020, the Oman News Agency (ONA) reported on Saturday.
According to ONA, almost 60 per cent of the Dhabab Resort in Quriyat has been completed. “The project is an integrated 5-star tourist resort and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year 2020,” ONA said.

The resort consists of 92 rooms including 24 chalets overlooking the sea, three luxury suites, five additional suites, two swimming pools, a health club, squash court and multi-use halls for events and meetings with a capacity of 120 people per room. The project includes three hotels, with a total of 750 rooms, and a nine-hole golf courses.

The resort is located close to many tourist sites such as the Wadi Al-Shabab and Wadi Daykah Dam.
