MUSCAT: ‘Mall of Abayas’, a UAE-based luxury modest clothing brand by well-known Indian designer Afra Shabeeb, has opened its first store in Oman.
Located in Ruwi, opposite the Star Cinema, ‘Mall of Abayas’ is operated in Oman by White Sands Investment LLC.

‘Mall of Abayas’ has become a trendsetter ever since it was launched in 2016 and has since expanded its wings to India, Sri Lanka, the GCC countries, African countries, and Europe through online retailing. “We are getting good response from customers residing in GCC markets, and having a store in Oman will further strengthen our brand,” Afra said.
Mall of Abayas offers luxury designer clothing, everyday wear, and modest collections at budget-friendly pricing.
“It’s a privilege for us to be associated with a brand like Mall of Abayas and to operate its first store in Oman,” said Merin Vineeth, Managing Director of White Sands Investment. “Apart from our exclusive store in Muscat, we also have our presence across social media platforms, which will give customers an array of designer wear to choose from,” added Merin.
Nishad Padiyarath, Founder and CEO of The Arabian Stories, was the special guest at the ‘Mall of Abayas’ inauguration ceremony; social media influencers Imrana Khan, Raha, Mufeedha Ubaidh and Fathima Hiba also attended the event.
