MUSCAT : On the occasion of Omani Women’s Day, The Chedi Muscat invited all female staff of the hotel to an invigorating session that began with a scrumptious breakfast with the General Manager, followed by a formal cake-cutting ceremony, a photo session and distribution of gifts for the participating ladies.
The half-day session also saw volunteers of the Oman Cancer Association (OCA) conducting an awareness program to discuss the ‘Pink Ribbon’ campaign and highlight the Annual Cancer Walkathon, which is scheduled to be held on 1st November. Interested employees were registered for the upcoming event.
On the sidelines of the function, the General Manager spoke to the attendees on the importance of Omani Women’s Day and commended the roles played by women as partners in the development of the nation, as underscored by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The General Manager also paid tribute to all the ladies – both Omanis and expatriates – working at The Chedi Muscat.
