Muscat: It’s back to school for students as most of private schools reopened after summer holidays.

Early on Sunday morning, students could be seen waiting for their buses, all set to get back into their old routine. 

While for more than half of the schools here, the opening marks the beginning of a new academic year, for many, it is the start of a new term.

“I am looking forward to meeting my friends after almost two months of holidays. It will be studies and more studies as soon our tests will start,” said Aishwarya, a student from an Indian School.

Most of Indian and Pakistani schools in Oman. According to information received, 17 of the 21 Indian schools have reopened for the second academic term while the remaining five schools will open in the coming days.
