MUSCAT: Oman’s Public Prosecution has warned that it will take legal action against anyone who publishes or shares content that offends countries, their leaders or their people, or harms the Sultanate’s relations with other nations.
In a statement, the prosecution urged the public to exercise awareness, express opinions responsibly and show restraint in their words and actions, particularly on social media.
It called on people to avoid conduct that could undermine relations between Oman and other countries.
