TOKYO: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Tokyo, in cooperation with Yamanashi Prefecture, held the ‘Oman-Yamanshi Jewellery’ exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Princess Tsuguku, in the presence of a number of government officials, representatives of the Japanese Parliament and heads of diplomatic missions in Japan, inaugurated the exhibition.
Ambassador Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed Al Busaidi recalled the cooperation between the embassy and Yamanashi Prefecture and wished that the exhibition would show one of the ancient cultural aspects of the Sultanate.

The exhibition included more than 90 pieces of Japanese jewellery and Omani gold and silver artefacts, which show the heritage and traditional Omani culture in the arts of gold and silver artefacts, in addition to showing a video clip for the attendees to introduce the cultural and tourism aspects of the Sultanate.
