Muscat: Oman’s legendary goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi thanked his teammates and  management after he terminated contract with Saudi football giant Al Hilal FC.

In an emotional post on his official instagram post, Habsi said: “The beautiful days pass quickly, and only the memory remains,” said Al Habsi. “The 2018 tournament was the most beautiful of these memories, which will remain stuck with the beautiful suspenseful voice of Amer Abdulla, who said ‘Habsi keeps the league in Riyadh.’

“Greetings and thanks to the brothers of the management of Al Hilal Club and its fans and members, and to all the sons of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who overwhelmed me with their welcome and generosity,” he added. “They were the best supporters I could receive while I was in this special place.”

On Monday, Habsi He met club officials in Riyadh to complete the necessary formalities.

37-year-old Al Habsi joined Al Hilal in 2017, having signed a three-year deal with the capital club.

“I have passed through my professional life at many places and with many experiences, and perhaps the experience of being at Al Hilal Club was one of the most stable experiences at a psychological level, so I cannot hide this because I felt a feeling that I feel only during my presence in Oman,” he added.
