MUSCAT: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates “Madayn”, represented by its Inspection, Control and Occupational Safety Department and in cooperation with be’ah Company, organised a workshop on ‘Industrial Waste Management’ with the aim of enhancing awareness on methods of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste management.

The workshop, which was held for control, inspection, and environmental health and safety officials at Madayn and its industrial cities, aimed at highlighting several topics including industrial waste infrastructure, types of industrial waste and treatment methods, engineered landfills, hazardous industrial waste transportation, challenges facing industrial units in dealing with waste, and health and safety procedures to prevent occupational accidents.
