MUSCAT : A third round of political consultations was held here today between the Foreign Ministry and the European External Action Service (EEAS) of the European Union (EU).
The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Diplomatic Affairs Undersecretary and Enrique Mora, Deputy Secretary General and Political Director of the EEAS.
The discussions covered the bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the EU and means of developing them to serve the joint interests of the two sides.

The two sides also discussed the procedures to waiver Schengen visa for Omani citizens. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
