MUSCAT : Cinépolis Cinemas, Oman Avenues Mall, Muscat premiered Top Gun: Maverick on May 24, 2022.

The legendary Tom Cruise is back in Top Gun: Maverick, over thirty years after the release of the first Top Gun movie! As is now typical with any Tom Cruise movie, the mega blockbuster brings an all-star cast featuring Val Kilmer, Jennifer Connelly and Jon Hamm. The film delivers all the promised action scenes with a touch of nostalgia that all the true Top Gun fans would appreciate!

To maximize the experience, the movie should be viewed in one of two formats: Macro XE, a screen three times the size of a traditional cinema with ground-breaking projection and surround sound, or 4D E-motion, a format that brings movement, wind, water and scent to the viewing experience! Attendees of the premiere were welcomed in the brand’s Macro XE offering where they were treated with Cinépolis’ famous popcorn and had the opportunity to experience the 4D effects while watching a short film.
