MUSCAT : On Wednesday, 27 April 2022 the Indian Nursery Wadi Kabir relocated to its new premise in the Kindergarten campus of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir. An inaugural programme was organized to rewrite history and the Chief Guest, Shri Ashwin Dharamsey Nensey, a supporter and well-wisher of ISWK accompanied by family members untied the ribbon in the presence of Shri Anil Khimji and Shri Kiran Asher, chief patrons of the school, members of the SMC of ISWK and ISWKi, other distinguished guests and parents of the tiny tots of the Indian Nursery Wadi Kabir.
The auspicious event then progressed with Shri Ashwin Dharamsey Nensey and other dignitaries lighting the lamp.
On 15 January 1996, Indian Nursery Wadi Kabir had been formally inaugurated by Madam Jamnaben Dharamsey Nensey, mother of Shri Ashwin Dharamsey Nensey. It was a red lettered day then in the history of the nursery and 26 years on, the Indian Nursery witnessed this great family once again formally open a new chapter in the history of Indian Nursery Wadi Kabir. Master Siddharth Nair and his kindergarten class mates welcomed the dignitaries and the nursery tiny tots with a heart touching welcome song. Following this Juana Maria Joji and her group of kindergarteners performed a few rhythmic moves to welcome the nursery children. The audience was thrilled by the presentation put up by the kindergarten children.
Before moving on to visiting the classrooms and premise, the honorable chief guest Shri Ashwin Dharamsey Nensey was presented a memento by Shri Anil Khimji, chief patron of the school. Thereafter, Shri Kiran Asher, chief patron of the school presented a shawl to the honorable chief guest, Shri Ashwin Dharamsey Nensey. A priceless piece of art work done by the nursery tiny tots was also presented to the Chief Guest.
Shri Ashwin Dharamsey Nensey and the dignitaries contributed to the wall art thus further enhancing the most inviting and colorful play area at the premise. The distinguished guests and dignitaries praised the school SMC and staff for the infrastructure and service provided for the tiny children. It truly was a memorable and historic day for Indian Nursery Wadi Kabir.
