VIRGINIA: The joint Oman-US military committee held its 16th meeting at the headquarters of the US Department of Defence “The Pentagon”.
The Omani side was headed by Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za’abi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence, while the American side was headed by Dana Stroul, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence (DASD) for the Middle East.
The two sides discussed spheres of military cooperation between the two countries and means of enhancing them to achieve the joint interests.

The meeting was attended by Moosa Hamdan Al Tai, Ambassador of Oman to the US and several high ranking officers and officials from both sides.
