MUSCAT: The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD), in cooperation with the Public Prosecution and the Royal Omani Police (ROP) carried out a campaign to remove 10 illegal possessions, in different locations within the boundaries of the Zone and the necessary measures were taken accordingly in this regard.
The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) continues its efforts to investigate and monitor any illegal possessions within the boundaries of the Special Economic Zone at Duqm or its affiliated areas and to take the necessary measures in accordance with the legal procedures applicable in this regard.
OPAZ calls upon all to avoid misusing or infringing on the public funds or grabbing government lands illegally, which will consequently expose the violator to legal accountability and judicial consequences including removing the possessions.
