MUSCAT: The League of Arab States has affirmed its commitment to exert efforts and cooperate with all member states to support women’s empowerment issues at the regional and international levels.
On the occasion of the celebration of International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8 every year, the university directed appreciation and gratitude to Arab women for their pioneering roles in advancing the Arab nations at various levels.
This International Women’s Day, 8 March, UN Women and the world look forward to uniting under the theme “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”, and call for climate action for women, by women.
