MUSCAT: Major General Mattar bin Salem Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, received Major General Saeed Rashid Ali Al Shehhi, Commander of the Land Forces of the sisterly United Arab Emirates and the accompanying military delegation in his office at Camp Al Murtafa on Wednesday morning. The delegation is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

Upon the arrival of Major General Staff, Commander of the Land Forces in the United Arab Emirates, the headquarters of the Royal Army of Oman, a group of honour guards gave the military salute, then the guest reviewed the ceremony.
 
The Commander of the Royal Army of Oman welcomed the Commander of the UAE Land Forces and his accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay. On his part, the guest expressed his happiness to visit the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, views were exchanged, and a number of military issues of common interest were discussed, in a manner that serves the areas of existing military cooperation. Between the Royal Army of Oman and the Land Forces of the United Arab Emirates.
