MUSCAT: The number of micro, small and medium enterprises registered with the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority in 2021 has increased by 30.4% compared to 2020, according to a data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information.
According to NCSI, by the end of November 2021, the number SMEs registered in Oman has touched 62,335 compared to 47,802 in the same period in 2020.
With 21,068 SMEs Muscat Governorate ranked first, while North Al Batinah has 9,830 and Al Dakhiliyah Governorate has 7,604 and Dhofar has 5,318 SMEs.
