MUSCAT: Paragliding is becoming popular in Oman among people who love adventure sport.
The adventure sport has been attracting an increasing flow of tourists lately in a number of governorates in Oman. “Over the past many years, Oman has seen a tremendous interest and passion for this sport from tourists,” a statement by Oman News Agency said.
Khalid bin Rashid Al Kalbani, Head of the Al Dhahirah Amateur Team of the Ibri Club said: “we are seeing a rise in tourists especially during weekends to take paragliding. We are following all the safety protocols to ensure the tourist is safe.”
