MUSCAT : Oman Air will increase flight frequencies and passenger capacity across its network under its winter 2026/27 schedule, starting October 25, while expanding connections through codeshare partnerships, the airline said on Tuesday.
The changes include a tripling of capacity to Zurich compared with the summer season and an increase in Moscow services to up to eight flights a week from four during summer.
Zurich will be served by widebody aircraft on up to five weekly flights. Services to Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Milan and Istanbul will also rise to as many as five flights a week.

Oman Air said the expanded European schedule, covering an 11-city network, would provide more travel options and help attract visitors to Oman.
The winter programme will be the first full winter season for several destinations introduced earlier this year. Singapore will have four weekly flights, while Tashkent will retain two flights a week and Sochi one.
The airline will also deploy Boeing 787 aircraft on one flight a week to each of Mumbai and Dhaka, adding capacity to meet what it described as strong demand on the routes.
Within Oman, services between Muscat and Khasab will increase to up to four flights a week. The Muscat–Salalah route will operate up to five times daily throughout the winter season.
Oman Air is also expanding its codeshare network through agreements with Lufthansa, SWISS and Malaysia Airlines.
The Lufthansa and SWISS arrangements will provide onward connections via Frankfurt to Edinburgh, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Bergen and Billund; via Munich to Edinburgh and Wrocław; and via Zurich to Gothenburg and Oslo.
An expanded partnership with Malaysia Airlines adds connections to Shanghai, Beijing Daxing and Guangzhou. Members of both airlines’ loyalty programmes will receive applicable oneworld tier privileges and service benefits, Oman Air said.
Bookings for the winter schedule are now open through the airline’s website and mobile app.
