MUSCAT: A football player who collapsed during his warm-up before a match in Oman on Wednesday has died, it has been confirmed.
Mukhaled Al-Raqadi, who plays for Muscat FC died after being taken to hospital hours before his team’s match against Al Suwaiq FC in the sixth round of the Omantel Football League.
“Muscat FC player Mukhaled Al-Raqadi died after being taken to hospital after falling while warming up before the start of his team’s match with Al-Suwaiq FC in the sixth round of the Omantel Football League,” Oman News Agency, said.
