MUSCAT : Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) organized a workshop on “Negotiation of Humanitarian Crises” under the auspices of HH Sayyida Dr. Mona Fahd Al Said, SQU Assistant Vice-Chancellor for International Cooperation.
The workshop aimed at strengthening the concepts of dialogue for university students in international forums and the exchange programs for students and humanitarian workers. It also aimed to underscore the role of the Sultanate of Oman in humanitarian diplomacy, and highlight trends and cultures of regional negotiations.
The event was organized by the SQU and Oman Charitable Organisation (OCA) in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross’s (ICRC) Oman branch, and the Swiss-based Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN).
