MUSCAT: The diversion, being implemented in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), will affect motorists exiting Sultan Qaboos Street towards Al Khuwair street.
Under the revised traffic arrangement, the affected section of the service road will operate as a one-way route up to the intersection before Al Zawawi Mosque.
The diversion will also involve the closure of a section of the service road in both directions in front of the mosque to allow construction work to be completed.
Muscat Municipality has urged motorists to exercise caution, follow directional signs and comply with traffic instructions at the site to ensure smooth traffic movement and public safety.
