MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has returned from Qatar after concluding his two-day official state visit.
During his visit, both the countries signed agreements on military cooperation, taxation, tourism, ports, labour and investment.
His Majesty the Sultan conferred the Oman Civil Order “First Class” on Sheikh Tamim. The order is considered one of the highest civilian orders, which is conferred on kings and presidents.
Meanwhile, the Emir of Qatar conferred on His Majesty the Sultan the “Sword of the Founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani”, the highest Qatari order.
