MUSCAT: The economic policies and measures implemented by the government have begun to bear fruit in improving the financial performance, Oman’s Minister of Economy said.
According to His Excellency Dr. Said Al Saqri, the country’s economy is expected to grow by about 5.8% in 2022. “We will continue to record growth rates during the years if the tenth five-year plan,” the Minister said in an interview with Arabic newspaper Oman Daily.
Al Saqri said that the rise in oil prices has led to a significant improvement in the state’s general budget. “It has a positive and direct impact on growth in the national economy,” the Minister said.
