MUSCAT: Indian School Al Ghubra resumed on-campus classes after a long gap of 18 months with Class 12 students attending school on Sunday, the 10th of October 2021. The students were welcomed by the Principal, Vice Principal, members of the School Management, teachers and office staff . They expressed their excitement to get back to normal school life, as they knew it in the pre-pandemic days.
Strict Covid protocols such as wearing a mask, producing their Covid Vaccination Certificate to be checked at the entrance, maintaining social distancing were all adhered to under the watchful eyes of the staff. As instructed, the students followed the arrows marked in the corridors and on the stairs to go to their classrooms and sit in their assigned places. The number of students in each classroom was restricted to 24. The students enthusiastically participated in the classroom activities and revelled in the opportunity to interact face to face with their teachers and peers.
The classes began with a video presenting the welcome messages by Mr. Ahmed Rayees, President-SMC, the Principal-Mrs. Papri Ghosh, the Vice-Principal -Mr. G. Sreekumar and the teachers. The colourful displays on the school boards in the foyer and the corridors spread a feeling of cheer among students.

The management and the staff of ISG have taken extreme care to ensure the smooth transition of classes from online to offline taking into consideration the physical, mental as well as emotional well-being of the students.
