MUSCAT – In a statement issued on May 4, 2026, the Ministry clarified that the decision is applied annually from the beginning of June until the end of August, between 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm.
The Ministry warned against misinformation circulating on social media suggesting that the ban is currently active, stressing that such claims are inaccurate and may cause unnecessary confusion.
It urged the public, employers, and workers to rely on official sources for verified information and to avoid sharing or publishing unconfirmed content.
