MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Wednesday received a phone call from His Majesty King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to check the situation after Cyclone Shaheen hit the country.
Bahrain King reaffirmed solidarity with Oman and extended its support for the country in dealing with the situation, Oman News Agency reported.
Bahrain King also offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to His Majesty the Sultan over the loss of lives during the Cyclone and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. He also prayed for the safety of those who went missing after the storm.
