The product of a complete makeover, the 2021 Santa Fe benefits from bold design, cutting-edge technologies, and an array of driver assistance features – attributes that are set to reinforce its already robust appeal in the competitive SUV segment of the market.

The latest iteration of the fourth-generation Santa Fe has undergone a dramatic overhaul of its exterior. A signature feature is its cascading grille flanked by two restyled, and slim LED headlights, in addition to a new front bumper, revamped T-shaped LED daytime running lights and a stylish skid plate. In other highlights, the 2021 model comes with a sculpted hood, broad wheel arches, restyled alloy wheels, updated LED taillights and a concealed exhaust system.

Pitched as an upscale family SUV, the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe features a new body platform with a generous wheelbase of 2765 mm. Overall vehicle specs are striking: the redesigned vehicle is 4770 mm long, 1890 mm wide, and 1680 mm tall – a combination that ensures ample interior room with a capacity to seat at least seven passengers in a three-row configuration. Cargo space ranges from 2002 litres (behind the first row) to 328 litres (behind the third row).

Complementing the refined features of the 2021 Sante Fe is its dynamic driving performance. Standard across both trim levels (Premium and Luxury) is a six-cylinder, 3.5L MPI engine delivering 280 ps/6300 of power and 34.3 k.mg/5000 rpm of torque. The power reaches all four of the Santa Fe’s wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly during acceleration. 

Journeys can be a thrilling experience with the new Santa Fe, bristling as it is with an array of tech features. Standard across both trim levels are a host of high-end facilities typically associated with Hyundai’s premium offerings. They include a remote engine starter, smart key and push button start, rear-view monitor, wireless phone charger, paddle shifter, driver seat height adjuster, cruise control, and auto window defogger, among loads of other exciting features.

Moving up the trim level, the Luxury variant comes with a panoramic power sunroof, electronic chromic mirror, navigation with 10.25” display, leather seats, manual rear door curtain, and Harman Kardon speakers.

Additionally, the 2021 Santa Fe boasts best-in-class safety technologies, including an array of driving assistance systems (ABS – ESC – DBC – HAC), front and rear parking distance warning alerts, and electric parking brake with autohold.  The Luxury variant also includes a Blind Spot Collision Warning System and side and curtain airbags.
