MUSCAT: The Tax Authority begins receiving the first Value Added Tax (VAT) returns on the value of supplies, Oman News Agency reported on Sunday.
Oman implemented the 5% VAT from April 16. However, more than 450 basic food commodities have been exempted from the tax.
