MUSCAT: The Council of Administrative Affairs for Judiciary has confirmed that all cases will continue to be considered during the next three months.

In a statement issued, the Council said there has been a significant rise in the number of cases heard by the judges especially the labour related petitions. “In view of the exceptional circumstances that the country and the world are going through during this year and the year before it, there has been a significant increase in the number of cases heard by the eminent judges in various departments, especially the labour department,” the statement said.

“The Council seeks to reduce the burden resulting from the delay in adjudicating the cases,” the statement added.
