MUSCAT: The drive-through COVID-19 vaccination campaign that was suspended at Oman Automobile Association (OAA) due to the night lockdown will restart next week, a top Ministry of Health official said on Thursday.

Addressing the Supreme Committee press conference, Dr. Thamra bint Saeed Al Ghafriya, Acting Director General of Health Services in Muscat Governorate said: “Drive-through vaccination was stopped for one week but we will restart it next week,” she said.

The vaccination centre at OAA witnessed large turnout of people. However last week, MOH said it was temporarily suspended based on the decisions taken by the Supreme Committee.
