MUSCAT: Starting from January 2022, all business activities belonging to Muscat Municipality in Seeb Central Market will be limited to Omanis only.
In a statement issued, Muscat Municipality said the aim is to enhance “business environment for Omani youths.”
“Proceeding from the Omanisation programme implemented by the government to replace expatriate workers with trained Omani personnel, and based on the Muscat Municipality’s pursuit to enhance the business environment for Omanis, it has been decided to limit the engagement of business activities in Al Seeb Central Market (belonging to Muscat Municipality) to Omanis only, effective January 1st , 2022.,” the statement said.
