Commercial store in Oman closed for violating Supreme Committee decisions

In the wake of rising coronavirus in the country, the authorities have intensified inspections.

MUSCAT: A commercial store in Ibra has been closed for violating the Supreme Committee decisions, authorities said on Friday.

In a statement issued, Government Communication Centre (GC) said the Municipality of North Al Sharqiah closed ‘London Center’ store in Ibra for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee. “Legal measures have been imposed against the store,” the statement added.

In the wake of rising coronavirus in the country, the authorities have intensified inspections to contain the spread of the virus. Oman registered more than 2,000 new infections and 35 deaths on Thursday.
