MUSCAT: Oman on Wednesday extended the exit scheme for expats with expired work permits to leave the country permanently until August 31.
In a statement, the Ministry of Labour urged expatriates to register before August 31. This is the sixth time, the Ministry is extending the exit scheme. The deadline was supposed to end on June 30.
“The Ministry of Labour announces the extension of work with expat workers recruitment licenses expiring on until August 31, 2021,” the statement from Ministry of Labour added.
