MUSCAT: After temporarily closing, The Chedi Muscat has reopened on June 15 and is welcoming back guests with reinforced COVID-19 safety measures.
“We remain committed to delivering a safe environment with maximum hygiene standards to protect our guests and team members,” said Thomas Guss, General Manager. “The health and safety of our guests and colleagues is the number one priority. We have strengthened our existing safety measures and are looking forward to welcoming back guests and creating unforgettable experiences”.
All employees at the hotel have undergone PCR tests and are currently in the process of being vaccinated.

“Special leave has also been granted to all pregnant employees until their delivery to ensure the safety of them and their baby,” the hotel said in a statement.
The hotel has implemented full-scale enhancements to its already robust procedures to protect all colleagues and guests.
“A COVID-19 Executive Committee has been created to address issues requiring any action. Additionally, the hotel’s documented prevention plan has been updated to protect employees and guests, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience,” the statement said.
“In preparation to welcome back guests, the pandemic response plan has been approved by all relevant authorities and activated. All employees have been retrained on policies and procedures so as to act agilely in addressing any health and safety concerns,” the statement added.
