MUSCAT: Motorists in Oman will be fined OMR 300 and an imprisonment of 10 days if they or their passengers are caught throwing waste out of the car.
The offence, part of traffic law, involves throwing any kind of waste out of the window while the car is moving. “Throwing waste from the vehicle is uncivilized behavior and is punishable by law, with a penalty of up to ten days in prison and a fine of OMR 300,” Royal Oman Police said.
